OPERATIONS & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Location: Fordingbridge, Hampshire
Salary: £30-35K candidate dependent
Part-time/full-time (min 30 hours per week)

This position provides a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing luxury fragrance and skincare brand at an exciting stage of growth. We are based in the beautiful hamlet of Alderholt, near Fordingbridge and have both a national and international customer base and supply chain.

The role requires someone who is self-motivated, pro-active and keen to join a small team with big ambitions. We require someone to be in the office on a daily basis and candidates must have a proven track record in managing relationships with both customers and suppliers, an ability to prioritise work and have excellent IT (in particular, Excel) and system skills. We are a small and dynamic team so an adaptable approach is absolutely key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribution and logistics
  • Management of 3rd party fulfilment centre
  • Production – placing orders, receipting in stock, organising freight, dealing with stock/production issues
  • Stock control and forecasting
  • Support the team with projects such as new products, new customers, new category launches
  • Assisting with management reporting
  • Providing vital all-round office and administrative support
  • Dealing with customer orders and queries (wholesale and direct)
  • Basic Daily sales/purchase ledger data entry

Experience and Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in Distribution, Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Analytical approach - Highly numerate, logical and strong problem solving skills
  • Team player - must be willing to work on the detail as well as the high level and not be phased by challenges
  • Attention to detail and high standards
  • ‘Can do attitude’ and flexible approach
  • An ability to work independently and drive process improvements
  • Advanced IT skills particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps).
  • Experience of Quickbooks and Shopify would be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills

MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE

Location: Fordingbridge, Hampshire
Salary: £18k pro rata candidate dependent (plus performance based bonus structure)
Part Time/Full Time - (Minimum 20hrs/pw Mon-Fri)

This position provides a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing luxury fragrance and skincare brand at an exciting stage of growth. We are based in the beautiful hamlet of Alderholt, near Fordingbridge and have both a national and international customer base and supply chain. Responsibility will be for connecting with our customers, communicating our brand values and delivering value via social media.

We are looking for someone with experience and understanding of social media for marketing a luxury brand who can work efficiently and accurately and thrives on delivering results. Experience of generating creative campaigns which deliver results and leverage opportunities both planned and opportunistic is essential as is ensuring the appropriate mediums of constantly changing social media are utilised to full advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and work with the founder and other members of the team to develop and action social media strategy
  • Research current market trends, competitors, influencers etc and identify opportunities
  • Monitor social conversations, interact and engage with others online on behalf of the brand
  • Schedule or post daily, creating a social media publishing calendar and keeping content relevant and fresh
  • Analyse social media performance and report on progress (weekly/monthly)
  • Supporting and attending retail, trade and press events
  • General office support duties

Experience and Key Skills:

  • A love and passion for social media and an in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and brand specific utilisation of these
  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and interpersonal (English GCSE A)
  • A keen eye for detail is essential
  • Ability to structure own time, use initiative and prioritise effectively
  • Ability to recognise opportunities with other brands and synergies with industry news
  • Good research and Internet skills
  • Be able to work well under pressure, have a flexible attitude and be responsive to change
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • Prepared to travel and work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends when required).
