Celebrate The Wedding Season With A Free Wonder Balm

May is here and it’s getting warmer every day - which means only one thing, wedding season is just around the corner, and we all want to look our best.

Whether you’re preparing to be a beautiful bride yourself or a wedding guest – here are Amanda’s top 5 tips for making your skin irresistibly soft and silky; the perfect accessory for your wedding dress or guest outfit!

  1. Plan your day. Think about what you’ll need to pack in your clutch bag to keep your skin moisturised, especially if you’re planning to be out all day (and night). A multitasking balm, such as our award-winning Wonder Balm is ideal for this. You can use it as a nail and cuticle softener, lip balm, or cracked skin reviver. It’s especially great for soothing cracked heels from wearing heels and can be used to slick back your hair or brows for an instant lift.

  2. Be cautious. If you’re spending the day outside, take care to keep well covered, especially if your skin is newly exposed to the sun after being hidden all winter. We all know the risks of burning and peeling if your skin is exposed too quickly, which isn’t a good look - so take it easy and if you’re after an alternative to the traditional after sun lotions, try our Radiant Glow Body Oil, to help soothe your skin and replenish dryness.

  3. Moisturising is key, especially after hair removal. Use our Soothing Bath & Shower Oil in the shower instead of (or in addition to) your using shower gel will help lock in moisture as it contains Macadamia Oil to deeply hydrate and protect your skin with added Tamanu Oil helping to improve skin elasticity.

  4. Eat well. Eating healthily leading up to a big event can make a huge difference to how your skin looks and feels. Foods rich in essential fatty acids, such as pumpkin seed and avocado are great. Fresh oily fish too will see some fantastic benefits - keeping your skin smooth and well nourished. Good quality salad dressings are ideal too as they’re often packed full with nutrients, such as olives and sesame oils.

  5. Stay hydrated and drink lots throughout the day. It’s a bit of an obvious one, but easy to forget, especially after a few glasses of bubbly. Keeping your body hydrated will help your skin and your general wellbeing, so always make sure you’ve got a glass of water close to hand.
